CHIEF EU NEGOTIATOR EGEMEN BAGIS REMIND PROMISES GIVEN TO TURKEY ACCORDING TO ANKARA PROTOCOL
Turkish Minister of State, Chief EU Negotiator Egemen Bagis stated that Turkey will keep her promises according to the Ankara Protocol as long as they keep their promises.
Bagıs pointed out that they will apply the Ankara Protocol for 10 new members however EU promised to lift the isolations on TRNC at the same time, so that as long as they keep their promises Turkey will also keep her promises. Bagıs reminded that the sun is raising everyday for two separate people, two separate Presidents and two separate democracies in Cyprus there is need of help to make these people agree, Turkey will not hesitate to do anything to help to this issue.
PRESIDENT TALAT REACTED TO GREEK CYPRIOT ALLEGATIONS ON PREVENTION OF RESTORATION OF APOSTOLOS ANDREAS MONASTERY BY TURKISH CYPRIOTS
President Mehmet Ali Talat has said that Turkish Cypriot side did all it could for the restoration of the Apostolos Andreas Monastery located at Cape of Zafer on the Karpaz Peninsula adding that while the preparations have been made reaching to this level through Turkish Cypriot efforts, Greek Cypriot side only created obstacles on the issue.
President Talat condemned the Greek Cypriot side that was trying to label the Turkish Cypriot side as uncooperative on the restoration of the Monastery, and said that he was deeply disappointed with these claims.
INSTITUTION OF COURT COUNCIL CONDEMN ORAMS DECISION OF EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE (EJC)
Institution of Court Council underlined that European Court of Justice gave the Orams decision under the effect of politics.
Chairman of the Institution of Court Council Hasan Sozmener and the Secretary General of the Institution of Court Council Feyzi Hansel made a statement and said that the Council demands from the UK to act responsible as a guarantor to take steps for this decision which is about to blast Turkish Cypriot People and underlined that the decision of EJC broke Turkish Cypriots faith to the EU Member States and the EU.
