UBP LEADER DERVIS EROGLU PRESENTED CABINET LIST TO PRESIDENT TALAT

The leader of the National Unity Party (UBP) Dervis Eroglu has presented his cabinet list to President Mehmet Ali Talat.

The new Council of Ministers with the Prime Minister Dr. Dervis Eroglu consists of : Foreign Minister Huseyin Ozgurgun, Minister of Interior and Local Administrations Ilkay Kamil, Minister of Finance Ersin Tatar, Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports Kemal Durust, Minister of Health Dr. Ahmet Kasif, Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Nazim Cavusoglu, Minister of Public Works and Communications Hasan Tacoy, Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture Hamza Ersan Saner, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Turkay Tokel and Minister of Economy and Energy Sunat Atun.

The new Council of Ministers which has been approved by the President Mehmet Ali Talat will be presented to the Assembly. After that the Council of Ministers will be presented to the vote of confidence in the Assembly.

TALAT AND CHRISTOFIAS EVALUATE THE SITUATION

TRNC president Mehmet Ali Talat and leader of Greek Cypriot Administration will meet today at 10:00 am in order to evaluate the situation following the recent developments.

According to the information obtained from Presidency, the leaders will evaluate “recent developments” instead of routine negotiations today.

As the property and EU issues are negotiated nowadays, the decision on Orams case taken by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) was reacted by the Turkish Cypriots; however on the other hand, the decision was welcomed by the Greek Cypriot leadership.
