NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUING TODAY

President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Mehmet Ali Talat and the Leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Dimitris Christofias will meet again today at 10.00 o’clock in a building allocated for the talks in the UN-controlled buffer zone.

Leaders will continue to discuss ‘Security and Guarantees’ issue and also expected to handle ‘Immigration’, ‘Citizenship’ and ‘Right of Asylum’ under the ‘Administration and Power Sharing’ issue.

EU Term President Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt, remind Greek and Greek Cypriot EU Parliamentarians who wanted Turkey to open her ports to Greek Cypriot Side at the end of this year, the massacre toward Turks in Cyprus and Greek Colonel Junta in Greece .

GREEK CYPRIOT POLICE STOPS KOREAN SHIP FOR PASSING FROM FAMAGUSTA PORT AND ARRESTS 4 ARABIC CREW

Greek Cypriot Police stopped a Korean People’s Republic ship, with the reason of loading goods from Famagusta Port , and arrested its 4 Arabic crew.

The ship, which was settled to go Port Side Harbour of Egypt, was blocked around Portara region of South Cyprus and the Greek Cypriot Police and customs authorities carried out a search at the Korean Ship, says the Greek Cypriot radio, RIK.

4 people from the crew, 3 from Syria and 1 from Lebanon came up in the court with the reasons of “Entering the Republic of Cyprus territories, the closed Famagusta Port, without the permission of the Immigration Office, keeping customs-free goods and avoiding to pay tariff and consumption tax. The Greek Cypriot Court decided to imprison the crew for 8 days.

TRNC rises from 106th rank to 95th rank in the “Doing Business Index”, Carried Out by YAGA for the Second Time, with the World Bank Method.

YAGA stated that several indicators and reports gained importance, such as “Doing Business Index” and “Competitiveness Index” that is arranged in the country, in order to observe the investment climate and countries to become prominent.
