The TRNC Parliament which has been formed after the 19th April elections has concluded discussing the program of the new government formed by the National Unity Party leader Dervis Eroglu.
The debate on the program started on Thursday when the leaders of political parties with seats in the parliament explained their views regarding the program.
A vote of confidence will be held for the new government today.
DOWNER SHALL VISIT ANKARA AND ATHENS
The United Nations Special Adviser for Cyprus Alexander Downer will fly to Ankara and Athens for talks with Turkish and Greek officials on the Cyprus issue.
He will then return to the island to attend Thursday’s meeting between President Mehmet Ali Talat and Greek Cypriot Leader Dimitris Christofias.
Downer will fly to Athens after his contacts in Ankara and come together with the authorities in the Greek Foreign Ministry.
