ROME REPRESENTIVE OFFICE OPENED

Rome Representative Office of TRNC opened with a ceremony yesterday. The opening of Representative Office was realized by TRNC Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Professor .Dr. Turgay Avcı and Italian Member of Parliament Maurizyo Turko. At the opening ceremony, Professor .Dr. Turgay Avcı made a speech and emphasized that the opening of the Office would be an important step for the promotion of the existing relations with Italy and the Italian people.

Pointing out that the activities in the fields of trade, culture, tourism and education would be developed through this Office, Avcı also called the government of Italy to help on the lifting of the isolations imposed upon the Turkish Cypriots.
